Harry - you seem to live in Buckingham Palace. I'm sure the Queen has pink toy Barbie buses hidden behind her sofa for when then the kiddies come round to tea in her palatial grounds, too.

And brilliant use of the fullstop. Together, we'll crack this technology lark. Now - in the absence of any help from YOUR OWN SON we'll have to figure out a way of fooling our CPUs (that's our computers) into allowing us to upload video clips. Any ideas ?

Harry C

Thank you Tom - you recognise the Barbie bus then ! I must say I was inspired by your ground-breaking work on full stops and I agree, together we can crack this tech' thing eventually. But the published version still came out differently from the preview I saw.
I'll have another crack at the videos soon and will swap any progress.

Paul H. Colman

Jesus! I feel like you two are my kids.

I'll make a video explaining how to do it.

TomLR

Hark at him Harry !

Thanks Paul.

However I think we deserve the same kind of credit as that which endowed those who invented the wheel, or script, or Tippex or something groundbreaking like those things. The advance Harry and I have made from our low base of knowledge is a comparable leap. These days all talk is of innovation and the great progress man is making by designing can openers that attach themselves to the wall and work by themselves, or vacuum cleaners that don't need emptying, or furniture that arrives in flat boxes. These are but tippy - toes compared to the seismic shifts in human development that are mirrored in the way your Dad and I heave learnt to use full stops, Paul.

TomLR

I hope you're listening, Paul. Pay attention.

Andy

You just know that Georgie has spied the hole under the fence. It'll be like Chicken Run all over again. Just with fewer chickens.

Harry C

Andy, you are right and I feel she will enjoy foraging in the woods, unless she has become soft and over-domesticated.

Tom, I feel we should now disregard the unappreciative technorati. You and I know what we have achieved to date, and we should move onward and upward to further significant achievements.

TomLR

Cast off the technorati !

(But let him show us the video first - then we'll cast him off)

(Metaphorically Harry - I don't expect you'll want to stop filling his tupperware with barbecued foodstuffs, for example).

Ben

"Next Monday, kid, all this will be yours" - Great.

Harry C

I'll still do the 'tupperware takeaway' when required,Tom. He is my son and I love him - it's a father thing.

TomLR

I know you love him Harry - and it's so beautiful.

lauren

on behalf of cat deserters the world over, harry, thank you for the love and attention you're giving georgie - her own blog post even!. i had to leave my 10 year old cat with my folks while i gallumpfed over here and whenever i skype them, my cat gets a couple of minutes to stare blankly at the screen while i go a little clucky.
